For the first few days after your denture is placed, you will experience some discomfort. All new dentures need to be adjusted in order to comfortably fit your mouth.
Take your dentures out every night and keep them in a clean container full of water or a denture-cleaning solution. It is important to do this so your gums can rest.
Before putting dentures back in your mouth, thoroughly clean them with brush and water.
At first it may be difficult to speak normally with your new dentures. Help your tongue and muscles get used to your new dentures by reading a book or newspaper out loud every day. Soon enough, you’ll be speaking normally again.
